Haflinger Single Work Harness

Single Harness Includes: Bridle with side checks and snaffle bit, cart lines, single shaft loop combination, breast/pole combination, line carriers, crupper, no-rust stainless steel hardware, and our standard, 2-strap britchen designed for easy adjusting.

 

 

 

All our harnesses are made with quality products right here in our shop by our Amish employees. We use American cattle hides that have been tanned in the USA to make our leather harnesses IN THE USA. Not many shops can honestly say that and it is something that our staff is very proud of. Our goal is to provide you with a good, quality harness that will fit your horse correctly and is strong enough for practically any job you ask of it. As with all harnesses, some maintenance is required. Check out the Harness Care Products section of our website.

What is Bio-Plastic and Granite? To explain it simply, it’s nylon coated in plastic or rubber to help preserve the harness as well as make clean up easier. This process makes these materials 20%-30% stronger than leather. That being said, we do still like to use some leather in combination with these products in heavy-wear points to benefit the horse.  As far as looks, Bio Plastic has a high-gloss sheen while Granite has a dull finish designed to mimic leather. Bio Plastic and Granite harnesses come with lines made of Beta, a flexible rubber-coated nylon for a leather-like feel while our Leather harnesses come with leather lines.
