About Shipshewana Harness

Thank you for your interest in Shipshewana Harness and Supplies!  Like Great Grandfather Radermacher's Harness Shop in the 1900's, we take pride in keeping with the traditional style of harness making.   We build high-quality harnesses right here at our shop in Shipshewana, Indiana.  Our team works closely together to insure that we continue to offer only the finest draft horse equipment.

Shipshewana truly is in the "heart of draft horse country."  It's rolling hills, huge farms and friendly residents make this the perfect place for us to keep the tradition of fine harness-making alive.  Our store is in a large old converted barn.  The manufacturing area is located upstairs in the massive hay loft and it now holds state-of-the-art machines and tools.    

We've been serving our community and the entire North American draft horse industry for many years.  In 1988, we introduced our exclusive line of Showtime brand shipping boots and show blankets.  Since then, the line has grown to include interference boots, hocksweats, halters, decorations and much more.
